Irene’s Vow

Although I strongly recommend this movie, good luck finding it. I saw it Monday (4/15) evening at what they call a special feature – only playing for two nights. It’s about a Christian young woman during NAZI Germany that helps about eleven Jewish people survive. It’s very realistic, very graphic and obviously disturbing to anybody with a heart. This is the kind of movie that when you leave, you wish you saw a white nationalist person out front that you could run over with your car. Also, gives you appreciation for the anger on the one side of the Charlotte march a few years ago.

I would not bring anybody under the age of 13 but I would strongly recommend this is a must see for anybody above the age of 13. Just be prepared for not a fun story.

8/10
